The AS1 Hand Steering Kit provides an alternative for sailors who can't use the foot-steering. A carbon-fiber joystick and the associated hardware is added to the cleat console and some extra parts and hardware are connected to the rudder.

A specially designed quadrant mounted onto the rudder guarantees zero slack in the steering lines, so you can comfortable use the hand steering in all conditions. The lines are routed in such a way that they cannot interfere with any sheets.
